Laughs aplenty with Hutch Davie on the wild piano-led ‘Gwendolyn & The Werewolf’ which snook out in 1958 on Atco and was re-issued as the A side in South Africa a year later. Frantic stuff and a squalling cat midway through, plus the flipside of The Pharaohs’ only single on Iona circa 1960. An early surf tune with a werewolf in tube city.
