James Gallagher was a prolific hillbilly performer who released sides under a number of names in the 50s and early 60s. These three were on separate singles from the B&G label out of Kentucky, the lead cut is the phenomenal B side of a 1959 single that’s got all the hallmarks of a psychobilly nugget, while ‘Crazy Chicken’ and ‘Crazy ‘Bout You’ inevitably do what they say on the can.
