Amazing, then, that you can go online and find out exactly how to make a voodoo doll and influence people (or something). No such luck for The Interiors whose second single, ‘Voodoo Doll’ failed to take their career to new levels or indeed kill off their rivals. Coupled here with their previous 45, ‘Echoes’, it’s groovy doo wop from 1961 which sadly signalled the end of their short lived career. Perhaps someone read somewhere: Make your doll represent someone by attaching their photo, a lock of hair, a piece of their clothing, or their name. Stick pins into your doll to represent your intentions and what you want to happen to this person—which could be yourself or someone else. Place your voodoo doll on a personal altar and light a candle. Ask the voodoo spirits, called Loas, to help you with your voodoo doll, or petition your ancestors for help. Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps.
