French Glam rock anyone? Of course, I was attracted by the sleeve; always a sucker for grown men with stubble doing glam. But Papoose are actually pretty cool on the flipside of ‘Le Grand Cirque’ – which is a bit twee in places, the mighty ‘Petit Pois” (peas to you fellah) is a piano-led guitar growler that could be a blueprint for Gang Of Four once they get revved up. Classic.
