Aggie Dukes seems almost breathless on his spiritual ode to the Cadillac which quickly switches location to the tropics for no apparent reason before Bill Parsons sweeps him away with a rockabilly rumble that throws a flute into the mix on ‘Hot Rod Volkswagen’. Ritchie Deran adds a girl to the hot road conundrum as he tells tales of post school blues; The Night Riders bring some swing to their cursory tale of ‘Women And Cadillacs’ before we return to the rockabilly grumble of Mike Page and his itinerant guitar player. Sonny Wallace should close proceedings for Caddy owners but we have a badly hidden closing cut from The Original Starfires, the wild and insurance-testing ‘Fender Bender’. Drive Safely.
