Formed in the late 50s in México City, Los Locos Del Ritmo, wallowed in the garage rock in the mid 60s but pre-dated the genre with this 45 circa 1960, a groggy take on The King’s ‘(You’re So Square) Baby I Don’t Care’ backed here with an elongated and, yes, fairly truncated version of ‘La Cucaracha’ which is the wilder of the two sides for sure.
